Kazi Ahsan Uddin is a seasoned development leader and clean energy strategist with over a decade of experience driving transformative change across climate resilience, sustainable finance, and low-carbon infrastructure. As Director of Foresight Advisory Ltd., he brings a rare blend of policy acumen, technical depth, and market insight, shaped by leadership roles at USAID, IDCOL, and global donor-funded initiatives. Kazi has mobilized over $400 million in clean energy investments, led multi-country partnerships on cross-border electricity trade, and helped shape national frameworks on solar irrigation, energy efficiency, and carbon markets. Renowned for his ability to navigate complexity with clarity, he guides clients through frontier challenges in climate and energy with precision and impact-focused solutions.

He holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Islamic University of Technology and an MBA from the University of Dhaka. He has completed executive training on Climate Finance (UNITAR), Carbon Markets (Gold Standard), and Unlocking Investment in Emerging Markets (World Bank), and is a Level II certified Contracting Officer’s Representative by the U.S. Federal Acquisition Institute.

Kazi has received multiple U.S. Government Honor Awards for leadership and technical excellence and brings regional experience across South Asia through collaborations with India, Nepal, and multilateral institutions.
